HATHA TO YIN YOGA

90-minutes to explore your body and mind with Recha. This yoga class combines Hatha and Yin yoga. We start with 60 minutes of Hatha yoga, focusing on building strength and flexibility with standing and seated poses. Then, we transition into a 30-minute Yin yoga practice. Yin yoga involves holding poses for several minutes at a time, with the goal of stretching the deeper connective tissues of the body, such as the ligaments, tendons, and fascia.
Throughout the class, I emphasise on the importance of listening to your body and working at your own pace. Modifications and variations will be offered to make the practice accessible to all levels of experience. By the end of the class, you'll feel rejuvenated, relaxed, and ready to face whatever challenges your week may bring.

PLAYFUL HATHA YOGA

Sina Alpiger Hatha Yoga Lehrerin Atman Studio Zürich

Connect your body and mind with Sina through playful and empowering movement. At the beginning of the class we set our intention and connect with our breath. Then we fuel our agni (inner fire) through dynamic elements from Hatha. In the last part of the class we use Yin Yoga elements to let go of any physical and mental tension. In order for everyone to listen to their body, there are always modifications to the asanas. This makes the class suitable for all levels.

Sina's intention is to let you take the feeling of pure Ananda (bliss) with you when you leave the class.

YIN YOGA

Sundays are YinDays

The perfect end to a weekend or a long week. In this class you can expect to drop deep into each pose while fully supported by props, soft lighting, gentle music and an invitation to surrender to what is. Yin yoga is a gift to your nervous system, by slowing down to feel and breathe.

The practice of Yin yoga is unique in that we spend time in the poses, which are grounding, and allowing for deepening into the connective tissue which holds old energy and tension.

In this 90 minute class you will move from tension to softening, from doing to being, where you can gently make your way home feeling deeply relaxed and ready for the week ahead.
